Paullina's new book
Paullina has a new book coming up, A Song in the Daylight. *flails*

Nothing is what it seems...

Larissa Stark is a beautiful woman who plays many roles in her life: wife, mother, devoted friend. She has everything she ever wanted, until a chance encounter with a stranger changes Larissa's idyllic existence forever, leading her to question all the things she once believed were true. Faced with impossible choices and contemplating the unthinkable, Larissa struggles with an eternal mystery: how does one woman follow a divided heart?

Spanning the upscale suburbs of New Jersey, the slums of Manila and the desolate beauty of the Australian outback, A Song in the Daylight is a story of the bonds that unite us and the desires that drive us apart.

From the author of Tully and The Bronze Horseman comes another unforgettable novel of passion and heartbreak.

Sounds like a classic already.

Also, Aussies, Paullina Simons is coming down under again! If you missed her last time, this is your chance to meet her! :)

I'm really excited to read it! I was a bit disappointed in The Road to Paradise so hopefully this is a return to form.

I was to. I thought TRTP was predictable and I lost interest in it. I have faith though. I am not a big fan of Red Leaves but love The Girl In Times Square.

I am excited about the cocktail party at the arts centre! Are you going to buy a ticket Jen?

I hope A Song in the Daylight is an improvement on The Road to Paradise because I was left feeling disappointed.

Ps: I really need a Bronze Horseman icon.

Yes, I think I will, Mel! By that stage I'll have just finished uni, so it'd be an awesome way to celebrate! Are you going too? We could book together...

Y'know, I'm a bad fan; I still haven't read The Road to Paradise, and it's a copy that Paullina signed for me too! LOL

I think I ought to do something about your lack of Bronze Horseman icon. Same goes for me. xD Hmm, I might make some now.

I think I'm going to go. I'm such a hypocrite. After teasing her for going to the HSM3 premier, I will go to a cocktail party with the author of my favourite book. Let's book together. How did you want to do it?

Honestly I'm a bad fan. I don't really remember much of Road to Paradise except that I didn't like.

He He!

LOL. Paullina > HSM (like a million times owned). Yay! I dunno about booking; I suppose we have to ring Dymocks up or something, judging by the info on Paullina's site. Maybe there'll be more events when the date comes sooner?

I suppose I'll get to Road to Paradise before Paullina comes to town. :P
